Who We Are

The Hidalgo County Young Republicans is a local chapter of the Texas Young Republicans Federation. The purpose of the group is to support the principles and objectives of the Republican Party, to work for the election of all duly nominated Republican candidates ,to promote the interests of young Republicans from South Texas College, UTRGV and Hidalgo County. We engage in grassroots politics, meet candidates and office holders, and experience what it means to be a proactive citizen. In order to be a voting member of our organization you have to be between 18 and 40 years of age but we welcome anyone over the age of 40 to become associate members.
